This time of year is so hard for me living in Southeast Idaho. We’re still weeks behind many surrounding areas that are seeing the first flowers and leaves of spring. Yesterday, my sister-in-law posted a fun picture of spring in Atlanta, Georgia. The trees were already beginning to show green. I get crocus, and the first shows of tulips and daffodils pushing through the ground. But things are still very brown, windy and sleeping. It makes us feel a lot like this:
So what do we do? We soak up the few days of beautiful sun that sneak in but coloring the sidewalk and we focus on the brave little crocus that defy the cold and bravely bare their purple petals.
I hope to find the time and energy to update this blog with more of the ongoing projects that are underway, both inside and out! 2016 will be a big year for home, yard and garden updates for this family!
